Some people have been requesting to see the wire frame! So here it is. As for how I did the texturing… I just UVed it, brought the UVs into photoshop for some of the shading texturing (such as under the eyes, freckles and eyebrows) and applied it to a surface shader (which isn’t effected by lighting, giving it a flat look) I smoothed the face, left the hair unsmoothed and rendered it out in mental ray. Then I went back into photoshop and did some light editting. The hair highlight, detail in the bangs and grainy texture was added in photoshop. Hope this helps everyone! I should also mention that I’m really no maya expert… This is still all a learning process for me… XD This isn’t super solid, but since I’m using a flat surface shader, I don’t have to worry as much about having a neat model.
